Trailside Nature and Science Center

Mountainside, NJ

Parker Homescape invited the Trailside staff and a crew of volunteers to assist in the construction of this 15 foot stream and waterfalls. Trailside visitors can now view this water feature from the bird exhibit room. The site now acts as an educational exhibit, teaching visitors what is needed to attract native wildlife to their backyards. Recently the National Wildlife Federation granted this space recognition as an official Backyard Habitat. Parker Homescape frequently conducts free educational workshops on ponds and other water features for both Trailside staff and the general public.

“Trailside has entered into a partnership with Parker Homescape with an opportunity for you to give back to wildlife and Trailside all at the same time. If you are interested in attracting wildlife to your yard and adding aesthetic value to your property, let Parker Homescape design and install a water feature for you. They will in turn make a generous donation to the Trailside Nature & Science Center. The finished product was both wonderfully inviting and very serene.”

– Patricia Bertsch, Director of Trailside
